Kiosks NW loves to help develop great ideas into working point of sale, information, demonstration and depository kiosk solutions.

It’s kind of been a while, but we’ve all recovered from the holidays and have sent new deliveries of our DK-2′s to old clients out east.

Before I go on, have you heard of these? They are medium security, remote depository, made specifically for hospitals and universities. We’ve already installed them at the University of Illinois, the University of Wisconsin, and Beaumont Hospital in Troy Michigan, to name a few, and are getting ramped up to ship more in the next week or two.

The humble remote depository, waiting to keep your money nice and safe.

These things are perfect solutions for large organizations with many departments that have daily operating transactions (cash or checks… and lots of them) that need to be deposited daily and often time after the cashiers office is closed or don’t want to have to drive across town to do it. In addition, we can fit them with our sister company’s, SafePak System which saves you 30%-50% on armored carrier costs alone. Yup, that’s a deal that’s hard top beat. We can set them up with touch screens for easy use and have deposit and pick up receipts printed and emailed instantly.

Anyway, the reason I wanted to start this post anyway was to tell you about one of our first loves, Kiosk Innovation. If you have an idea that requires requires some kind of point of sale, a transaction, a deposit of any kind, or maybe something that we could never have dreamed about, but leaves you scratching your head, give us a call. Odds are, we can put your dreams into action.

Like the new EasyPay™ system we developed with key figures of the Laundromat Association. While the system is in Beta testing, by the summer, you should be able to pay for your laundry at your local laundromat with a credit or debit card. But you are thinking, Wait, no one has done this before?!?! Nope, not well anyway.

We know you have a killer idea, but need a little extra help bringing your idea to fruition. Call us, write us, send us smoke signal. We can help.

Buzz Siler, the president of Kiosks NW, recently traveled to Iceland to deliver and install the KD20 Key Dispenser to Saeluhus Luxury Rental Holiday Homes. Lucky guy.

[nggallery id=11]

Buzz Siler, the president of Kiosks NW and the developer of the KD20 recently returned from Akureyri, Iceland where he installed a KD20 Key Dispenser for Saeluhus Luxury Rental Holiday Homes.

A number of weeks ago, Fridbert Fridbertsson called us at Kiosks NW and inquired about Key Dispensers for the hotel and holiday rental industry. Before we knew it, he and Buzz had struck a deal and Buzz and his lovely wife, Sandi were on a flight with the KD20 Key Dispenser in tow.

As you probably know, Iceland is a hot destination for worldwide travelers, but because of Akureyri’s northern location, guests often arrive late into the night, well after reception hours. Fridbert, the sales and marketing director for Saeluhus needed a simple, cost effective solution to get his guests their keys in a secure manner without having to have a clerk on sight.

The KD20 allowed him to do exactly that. When a guest makes a reservation, they are given a unique code for the key dispensing kiosk. This allows the weary travelers a quick and safe way to retrieve their keys without the assistance of a receptionist. The KD20 was a perfect solution to manage the 40 room estate of Saeluhus, plus Buzz and Sandy seemed to have a lot of fun doing business in Iceland.

If you have a hotel, B&B or a large group of holiday rental properties, Kiosks NW has a key dispensing technology available for you. In fact, we have key dispensers with 20, 40 or even 60 key capacities. Call, just like Fridbert did, to see how we can provide cost effective solutions for your happy guests. You might even get to meet Buzz and Sandi in the process.
